Family Vacation

Heidi and I took the kids on a whirlwind trip to our nation's capital last week during spring break.

This is a poor picture of Hunter & Jalen at Arlington National Cemetary at the Kennedy Memorial. In the background, you can see the Washington Monument (Hunter's favorite) and the gravesites of some of the 600,000 people buried in Arlington. I don't think the kids appreciated it as much as I did.

On our drive eastward, we had a chance to see some close friends and reconnect a bit. It was a blessing to see them and broke up the drive a little bit.

Tribute

A very good friend of mine, Sarah Aberle, went home to be with the Lord this week.

Her story and her courageous battle with cancer is documented on the link below.

Please pray for Josh and the 5 children (including their new 6-month old) that God would make himself incredibly near to them in the coming days, weeks, months and years.

But also to celebrate that Sarah's struggle is finally over, and that she has found her home with our Savior!
